Izumi is popular! Walk-ins are accepted but so often we are fully booked so we recommend you book in advance online or by phone (03) 9044 9230.

We encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes before your treatment time to fill out our health questionnaire and get familiar with the spa. Unfortunately, if you are late for your appointment, we may not be able to provide the full duration of your treatment time.

We invite you to relax before and after your treatment - complimentary tea and water is available.

Yourself! Izumi provides all the amenities one needs for a comfortable spa experience including spa attire and robes.

There is a private bathroom with shower at Izumi. Pease be aware there is a small fee of $10 for a towel and use of shower facilities pre or post treatment.

We encourage guests to keep the oil on their skin after their treatment to absorb the benefits. Our therapists do apply warm towel compresses to gently remove any excess oil.

Towels are provided.

We do not provide lockers at Izumi so leave your valuables at home.

We understand that things happen in life and plans change. However, if you need to cancel your booking, we do require 48 hours’ advance notice. Please call us and we will do our utmost to accommodate your request, but please understand it’s not always possible.

We do require a minimum of 48 hour’s notice to reschedule.

If you have remedial massage in your extras cover, some private health insurers will pay a percentage of your remedial massage costs.

* Please note, that it is your responsibility to ensure that your health fund allows for you to claim the massage rebate. Different providers offer different levels of cover depending on which package or premium you have taken.

Please let us know at the time of your booking if you are redeeming a gift voucher. It’s essential you bring us the copy of your gift voucher to your appointment.

The minimum legal age for massages and facials in Australia is over 16 years old. The good news is if you are aged between 8 – 16 years old, you will be able to experience an Izumi spa treatment with an adult present.

We ask that you let us know in advance if you have any allergies to products, nuts and oils.
